Fernox TF1 or Magnaclean filter?

what would you do to clean out old rads insitue. just powerflush?

Depends how bad they are, but a powerflush will get most if done properly, especially if combined with a chemical cleaner.

Otherwise down the garden with a hose pipe.

for some reason my text didn't show. I was asking whether Hotplumber worked for Adey given that he had posted saying he had problems with Magnaclean before but still seems to be in love with the product and the company??

Personally I have moved to the TF1 which seems a really well thought out product. Boiler buddie is too difficult to clean but this is dead easy. Have been told by the local merchant that magnaclean have recalled all stock due to another leaking issue!!!

It's a well known fact, that despite the problems that some seem to have with Magnaclean, they are still the best product on the market.

Personally I have never had a single issue with them, and I have two fitted in my own properties.
