Stainless can be a real pain in the backside...
It tends to 'pick up' very easily.
Even doing stainless bolts up with powertools can cause problems. It binds up very easily with the slightest bit of heat. Aip in a tin of copper slip works a treat. :thumbright:

I wonder if some lubricant on the screws would help when your not piloting....

There was alot of heat being generated but how would a lubricant affect the wood ?
