hank i have the makita 24v sds drill which i love. it more or less gets used everyday and evertime i use it i thank the lord for not having to have a cable dangling about.
i use the chisel stop feature quite alot but nowadays only for light chiseling.
bit of channeling, some tiles of walls, removing some bricks etc.
if i am stripping a load of tiling or knocking down a brick wall i use a cheap jcb sds corded and i trat it like a slave.

i have seen the drill in your link and thought about it in the past but it would only end up doing what my cheapy does and that one is doing the job perfectly well.

if you are itching to buy a drill i would recomend a cordless sds. you will not be sorry :thumbright:

I have a Titan 6KG one from Screwfix, seems to be ok, I should have had one years ago.

PS: where does all the grease, that I put into the gearbox, go to?

its those cheapy makes that i have used for years, and accept 1 failure a year (for £40 each), but after 2 in a row within 3 months, i finally need to get a proper one.

PS, I would guess that gearbox grease goes in the gearbox, but i could be wrong.

On the other hand, if its the supplied grease with the drill, its for the ends of the drills/chisels that go into the drill

The cheapies have a pot, for the gearbox, and should have a small tube for the drill shanks. But most dont.

The grease gets hot and starts to come out after a while, the cheapy i had was terrible for that

The high end ones like the Milwaukee have sealed gearboxes.

just got it

Makes a really nice noise :thumbright:

The suit is actually fine, its a seperate jacket/trouser waterproof set. Nice looking in grey/black, but way too short for me, and its meant to be size large :cb

Need to find something to chisel now
