Re: Credit Card Refunds
Chargeback is the option they will choose, had an issue myself with a company....credit card company rang the mail order company themselves and sorted it.....no questions asked......I'm a little worried about you not sending the first package back......it might be worth doing this first !
Keep strong mate, amazon appears to have some interesting cameras on at moment......cancel the others and order an amazon one quick.....their returns policy is amazing !

Re: Credit Card Refunds

Agreed, although if he's hanging on to the first one for this length of time they may not be to keen to give a refund now.

Indeed, it should have been returned and a claim made under the distance selling regs, within two weeks from memory.thescruff wrote:Agreed, although if he's hanging on to the first one for this length of time they may not be to keen to give a refund now.

Can you just 'send things back' without them being made aware/knowing or giving you some kind of RMA.
You can REJECT goods when they arrive with the courier, so they have never got to you in the first place.
Just send it back and you'll get "we wasn't expecting it - never arrived here" and then you have no cash and no recorder.
Nightmare really.

In the end, you ignore everything and click "I agree".

Re: Credit Card Refunds
That's my worry BG!
I can just see them claiming they never received the returned goods (even if I go through the expense of paying to have it registered)?
I may choose to use it or give it away as a present. Might even consider giving it to the missus.
Today, I checked the mail they had sent me two weeks ago. It had their mailing agent tracking Sid listed on it. So, I went to the site and was requested to enter a tracking number and my post code. However, when I enter the requested info, I am told they have no such details on their system and I must contact the company that sold me the product?

Men will always be kids. Even after they have grown up, they keep trying to go back where they originally came from!
