Yes I know that. But I really did think what you wrote was genuinely funny.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

Nothing :cb

The plan was to get an Onkyo 626 after tracking one down after much effort. The money from selling, some nifty cash back deals and flogging a few other things would have got me that and a bit towards the new cabinet. Long term plan was to get floor standing fronts and center and go for a 7.1 setup with the other speakers.

As it turns out, like all good plans, it's not happening. The fridge/freezer packing in last night, as we found out when we couldn't open the freezer door and it was totally full of ice. Everything is trashed. The fridge isn't cool either, at all. :cb

I think I'm going to have to delay my plans and be sensible :(

That sucks - sure it's trashed? Mine did that when the door got left open a tiny bit, just take a hairdryer to it (after removing the food).

I have an onkyo 809 and have just ordered a monitor audio RX6 5.1 setup. I plan to make it 9.1 in a year or so.

Probably going to upgrade to a 929 and move the 809 to the bedroom. I haven't discuss edit hat with the missus tho yet

We worked out it was about 9 years old.....we have a built in fridge with the cat box freezer and its' not enough. We decided tonight to get another freezer instead and live with the smaller fridge.....so there is hope of getting my amp yet

Mmmmm, I just dribbled a little bit when I read your setup....nice!! :salute: I've seen a few 9.1 setups a while ago when I was doing some project work with home theatre rooms....sounded fookin' amazing!!!! There was a demo with a plane that flew at you and up....you couldn't help but duck!!
