Think I'll leave it there.
Firstly you dig up (pun intended) a thread that is four months old to tell eveyone that the only way to treat mole infestation is to kill them. Then you will not accept that other methods may be quite successful.
If all you want to do is KILL wild life, as appears to be your aim then go ahead but don't start a load of friction on here:
You have had one yellow card from the Mods, go the whole hog and get another one.Very satisfying!
How ever, it is quite tricky. Firstly, you must ensure there is NO scent of you on your hands or the traps. Soak the traps in muddy water before use and wash your hands in the mud.
Find a mole hill, remove the soil and cut an X in the grass and peel back the turf. Carefully insert the set trap and then cover back over ensuring no light comes through. there are more detailed walk throughs available, but thats the very basics!
I was looking through threads and found one where I guy needed help on a subject I know something about. I thought I would offer my advice. Thought the was the idea of these type of forums and why people post.
I not sure how I have created friction? The guy commented about smacking the mole hills and I asked how thats works, as I have said, I thought he was actually going to suggest smacking them on the head.
What?! I have never suggested that. What I said was those spikes and sonar things do not work for extended periods. Proven fact.dave.m wrote: the only way to treat mole infestation is to kill them. Then you will not accept that other methods may be quite successful.
And yellow card? I assume you mean warning, are you issuing me one now? As I have had no notification and I'd like to know what for?
