New desktop pc..............

Looking for a new desktop PC, doesn't need much too fancy, windows 10, 64 bit (Not 100% sure what that is, but this one has it)
USB 3, 500GB hard drive and it must have blue tooth.

I only use it for forums, and social media, (That's why it must have blue tooth, so I can upload pictures from my phone, no cables to worry about)

Looking for recommendations. want to stay under £400
Don't need monitor (or an all in one) NEVER used for gaming
Seen some by some company called Vibox, never heard of them, oh this PC is an ASUS still working but just old.

Any suggestions please. (oh and where to buy)

are you in UK, at the moment not many stores open, so would need to be an online order and delivery
I would just make sure you get something like an i3 processor, Some of the cheaper models are quite slow, i have always found this to last quite a while , have some friends and family with machines over 8 years old and still outperform some of the new models

I would have suggested one from scan.co.uk whom I used to get components for my build years ago, but their cheapest, built, home pc is £399 but does not have an SSD or bluetooth although USB adapters are cheap enough.

You might consider just upgrading to an SSD for now. It would give your existing pc a whole new lease of life.

If not Aria.co.uk are very good for prebuilt systems. Your budget should get you a solid performing lowish model. If you want to go 4k display you'll need one with a half decent graphics card

From your request I also checked my PC and found no Bluetooth hardware, Linux Mint op system, and so I bought a 'Plugable' bluetooth USB adapter which clearly said was compatible with recent versions of Linux, such a small device but it worked fine, came with a CD for W XP,7,8,10.
Cable still much easier/faster.

My laptop used to take a good 10 minutes to get fully operational, and it was a good spec, intel core i5, 16gb of ram etc. It is now 7-8 years old

My office PC, which I do not use too much now, was a refurb from PC world. It is an HP Compaq with the usual stuff on it and it cost about £200 at the time. I looked inside it recently and found there was hardly anything in it, in fact it looked like a laptop board and the rest of the cabinet was empty. A bit like having a barn for a rabbit.

The point I am making is that the refurbished PC's might be worth considering.

It depends what you want to use it for.

An intel i5 based PC, 8GB RAM and SSD hard disk will suffice most applications including browsing and video streaming. Wifi, usb, graphics, bluetooth...etc come standard.

yes,

you transfer the files using the software to the ssd, then remove from the external case and install into the laptop/pc. it should then be as was before the swap, albeit a darn site faster.

SX-turbo, I would be very interested to learn if acronis can copy the operating system, this needs to be burnt as an ISO if I remember?
Whilst SSD are a big improvement over HDD, the operating system is usually the bug**r that slows with age not the HDD, IMO.
