Preparing floor after tile removal

Post by corematrix »

The tiles were a nightmare to pull up as the adhesive was super strong around 90% floor coverage.
We need to lay some self-levelling but before we do that is it a better idea to just keep chipping off the adhesive trying to not go too deep, or just belt sander it off?
What's the best way to prepare this floor for self-levelling.

What picture?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

 If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

:idea1: Click Here for a video how to add/change pictures

Can any one else see the picture? Yes or No.

(Not being awkward but I really can't see the picture and moderators see things we can't)

I could see it originally, but not now.
One day it will all be firewood.

OP seems to have deleted the file from their dropbox account.
