Skodia Fabia No start

Post by MrBaggins »

Recently tried to start my Skodia Fabia, which was working fine before. The engine turns over initially then conks out and wont start again. The battery still works as tried that. The middle LED panel doesnt work and it beeps when I turn it in with no error messages

Had a electric diagnostic guy tell me it was something to do with the key codes misaligning. When speaking to the key people they said it doesnt sound like a key fault as the middle LED panel isnt displaying the car icon.

Anyone have any ideas what the problem is? I've have a video but cant attach it so if you know plz message me

Thanks!

How did you test the battery ?

Have you tried the spare key ?

This.
Have you checked the actual battery voltage with a multimeter OP?
Battery being down will give all sorts of weird faults on modern cars

Before when?

LED's require very little current to illuminate, so I would ignore them, I would say you have a flat battery, and all you need to do is to charge it.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

you don't say how long its been stood.how old is the battery.if it was before the lock down then as SE said just charge the battery and see how it goes,if it was recently then you might have whats called a parasitic draw which will need investigating
