Changing Rear Discs
I need to change Rear Disc & pads on my Kodiaq.
Found good videos on steps (as it has EPB)
Need to change:
2 x Rear Disc
2 x Torx 30 csk fixing screws
2 pairs pads
2 pairs pad clips / anti-rattle springs
2 pairs calliper fixing screws
2 pairs carrier frame fixing screws
Anybody know if I can buy these as a kit .... workshop video say to change screws & springs, and show kit with all parts, but so far supplier (Europarts etc) seem to just have pads & discs nothing else.

Changing Rear Discs
There seems to be an issue with Kodiaq rear brakes. I just had a quick look and this site seems to have all the gear which might be worth checking https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/bra ... 25-2-0-tdi Also you might want to try the Kodiaq forum https://www.kodiaqforums.co.uk/viewtopi ... 2d3f27cc43
I do not know if there is a compatability with VW or Seat parts?

Changing Rear Discs
I almost never change the screws etc. If they're in good nick.
Make sure and smear copper slip over the rear of the brake pad and use brake cleaner to degrease the disc.
Make sure you don't have a hangover and put a pad back to front as I did many years ago

Changing Rear Discs
Reminded me of a tale in the late Murry Walkers biography, he was invited as a guest of British Leyland to look at the New Morris Marina production line, after a nice tour he looked across at where the wheels were being fitted and noticed at the front there was a disc brake and on the same axle ie the opposite side, there was a drum brake fitted
