Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advice as to how I can remedy this issue. The paint I’ve sprayed my ceiling with has not sat well on the caulk on the coving. It looks like crackleur.
I used Crown trade clean extreme in an HEA sprayer. The caulk had been on there for a couple of months so was well dry. Temp in the room is around 12 degrees.
I’ve already tried some peel stop on it, allowed that to dry for a few hours then hand painted more crown on top but I’ve come back today and it hasn’t remedied anything.
Please be kind I’m a total novice and input the coving up myself so yes it needed some caulk here and there!

You could try Zinsser BIN or 123. Or even try a new caulk over the top, prime and paint.

Paint didn’t like the caulk
Sounds like someone has used silicon sealant rather than caulk. I would redo the cracking caulk with a thin layer of a decorators caulk and repaint. It is easy to apply.

Thanks for your responses, It was definitely caulk not silicone I did it myself. I’ve tried a different caulk on top and it looks like it might work. Don’t know if I want to purchase any BIN, I’ve got 123 so could try a bit of that on a section and see what it looks like.
Thanks
Thanks
