Panting over wallpaper cracks?

Hi

I have a fairly severe crack in the wallpaper which has begun. Teaming through the recently painted wall and up to the ceiling cornicing in recent months.

Short of removing the wallpaper and starting from scratch, does anyone have any recommendations for a quick fix?

Should I just keep painting over it?
