I have never understood how this t*at has been given so much work I consider him to be mainly talentless. He is in the paper as his marriage looks shakey with Christine McGuiness who despite being a bit thick is well above his league for looks. He got his breakthrough from Peter Kay on Phoenix Nights and added little to that show but somehow managed to get his own series out of that, moving on to quiz presenting roles and currently trying to be funny on Top Gear and failing miserably ( I only watched Phoenix Nights) His voice cuts through you and he has a stupid vacant look. It just shows, you can be a stupid irritating c**t and still make it big. I should be famous by that token.

Having just visited my grandsons and seen the absolute rubbish they watch on TV and TicToc I despair, any rubbish will make you a "star" these days. :pukeleft:

I was going to say he killed " a question of sport". He didn't, the BBC or whoever produces it did, but he certainly helped.

I'm glad I'm not alone in finding him an irritating tw*t.

I forgot about that Bill, yes the BBC killed Question of Sport which I have not watched for years when it stopped being any good. Strictly Come dancing is becoming unwatchable now we speed through the bits we do not like and it now takes about 20 minutes. I have come to the conclusion that the streaming services buy most of the good stuff available and leave the public channels with the shite. The stuff like cookery and antiques are flogged to death and by the time they mess with formats to get the LBGT mob in it is all f*ck ed.

Had to look him up, but then I gave up most tv shows since early Cross Roads.

I looked forward to watching that each friday - BUT the new version with paddy and the teams , I watched a half the first and half the 2nd and again a few episodes later , just to see if it got going in anyway - useless , so not on my watch
i used to watch a bit of topgear with clarkson and the gang, as my son was into it and cars, BUT the new presenters dont do anything different - so gave that a miss a long while ago now

Other half loved strictly, but for the last few years or more, she has recoded and skips through most of it , just watching the dances

Cant stand the woman Alex Jones on the one show - never watch
