Painting metal in the cold weather
Good afternoon, I was wandering if you could advise me on a job im currently doing, I am painting a Japanese bridge for someone in their garden (england) and I am using sandtex gloss red top coat, I coated it last week and went back today to look at the job, the entire thing has gone wrinkly, I am a bit of a loss as to what to do other than using a different type of paint? The weather was dry and temp although has been decreasing stayed consistent so I'm unsure why its done it.... do you have any tips or advice as to what paint, what brush etc i should use coming into colder months Any help would be much appreciated, kind regards

From what I understand, although I have not used it, is that it works best with the Sandtex primer undercoat. Did you use this process? The shriveling look may have been caused by the top coat paint not bonding properly to the substrate.
