Hello to everyone,
I've just registered and am contemplating becoming serious about woodworking. I'm a fairly experienced diy-er zand already have a sizeable collection of hand and power tools but nothing that would be classified as shop machinery, which is where I want to go next.
I'm busily watching howto videos and looking to become as informed as possible before committing cash to the project so, to summarise, I'm here to learn.
I have one question, which is how to thank the author of a useful post. Do I just reply to the post expressing appreciation, or is there a dedicated button that I haven't yet found?

Sounds like you are wanting to go pro , but doing what exactly in woodwork

I'm just a DIYer , but there are a few Videos I watch for woodworking , Peter Millard , Robin Clevett , Rag 'n' Bone Brown, and a few others - or i search for specific items

nothing that would be classified as shop machinery, which is where I want to go next.

Maybe start a post of the tools you currently have and see what suggestions you get for upgrading to "shop" / "Pro" machinery, and what work you will be doing
