setting up zone or omitting a detector house alarm

Post by finest1 »

hi all, this is a bit of a punt!

i have a basic alarm system with the bog standard 9651 keypad. I'm going on holiday tomorrow and i want omit a sensor or create a new zone. i basically have a mouse that visits during the night and i haven't been successful in catching or killing it. it will definitely set off the alarm when im not here. my alarm guy is not responding to my calls, so i thought i might be lucky here.

thanks

You don't need "more zones" each device should already be on its own zone/circuit. You might ask him to make all circuits (except final exit) as omit permit.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
