Bonding cement

I've had some bonding cement plastered onto my wall as a kind of touch up to my skinned wall.

I wondered if anyone could please advise me if this bonding plaster is non combustible and if it can be sanded down as normal and painted on. Thanks

Bonding is usually used as a base coat plaster but plaster and fillers are all much the same powder base. There is nothing in its makeup that would do anything other than reduce back to dust if sanded. Your only concern is the dust raised and a mask is advisable if sanding using a power sander.

Bonding is much harder to sand than a skim coat. Wouldn't fancy it myself.
