Hi,
Just after a bit of advice from a professional;
Have recently had out bathroom renovated and a small part of the ceiling has been damaged to reveal a kind of brown ish orange texture. I've had the ceilings tested for asbestos artex which came back negative however I'm now thinking I only really tested the painted coating rather then the actual suspected artex.
Judging by the picture am I safe to assume that what I tested was actually the suspected textured coating and that underneath is plaster? Don't want to have to get another sample done if It's not needed.
Any advice is appreciated, many thanks

Textured Plaster or Asbestos
Chances are it does contain asbastos, but not the really harmful kind. Just get a plsterer in to skim over it and it's sealed until some-one disturbs it.

Yeah I hear you, thanks for the reply. I've had a ventilation unit installed which ivolved cutting a hole in the ceiling so just a bit worried that we've got asbestos potentially about the house so was looking for some reassurance in all honesty. House was built 85 I believe but just not sure if I'm just looking at a painted textured ceiling rather than artex
