plastering to existing corner

Post by markactive »

Could anybody give me advice on how to bead this corner. The backer board insulation finishes about 2 inches short of the existing corner. I want to use a bead but it needs to be placed exactly flush with the existing corner and about 3mm proud on the new surface of the backer board to enable a skim coat. this will be very difficult with a flimsy corner bead, slightly out on the existing corner and it will look awful. thanks.
