Dewalt SDS drill purchase

Post by Alien »

Hi everyone
I’ve just bought a new drill; I googled the lightest yet strongest SDS as I didn’t want anything too heavy. The one I bought is a Dewalt D25033k, but it has a plug that looks like my camping electric hook up; can you advise me on what I need in order to use it at home in the uk?

:welcomeuhm: you seem to have bought a 110V version of the drill. read the rating plate and tell us what it says (can't read it from the photo)

These are generally used on building sites. They cannot be used with a 240V plug.

Dewalt SDS drill purchase

Sorry to say, but I would sell the drill and buy a battery one (I do have a Dewalt SDS) as the one you have has got a 110v plug (Like wine~O said) which means you will need to buy a site transformer to power it, which are not too bad on price (Under £100) BUT they are heavy.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
