Black Friday 👾

Post by Someone-Else »

With Black Friday coming up soon, would it not be a good idea to check prices NOW and wait till the day to see what the price is, to see if you really are getting a decent amount off.

I am not THAT price conscious, but last week I was going to buy a pair of small "sample pots" of rice pud. (no, honestly) The week before they were £1 for the 2 pots. This time they were £1.60 (Normal price) so obviously I put them back, but I looked at the "normal" size tins, and they were now £1.20, so not only cheaper, I got more rice pud for my dosh. My point being always check prices before you buy something. Oh, and Ambrosia rice in black tins, very very nice.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

I’m not going to save anything on Black Friday - because I’m not planning on buying anything

But are there? It may look like something is a "great offer" e.g. 75% OFF but you really need to check, what is the price now, and what is it on BlackFriday, just because it looks good, doesn't mean it is good, hence check and note the price now, before you buy it on BF

Oh and not to mention the UPTO 75% OFF 10% is still UPTO 75%

they often buy stuff in just for the "event " so the rrp can be what ever you like printed on the ticket so 90% off means nothing look as the reference notes with linked stars

like for example screwfix often have boxes of screws at a to me in comparison to buying every box seperately a really good price.

having said that ive got one still full in my lock up from last christmas  so ill not fall for that one again like.

aye i use a canny few screws in a year but... some stay on ya van racking or screw box for half of forever..

so aye i see ya point.. but it is still a bargain also.
