Will a Dremel grind thin Stainless?

Hi and apologies for joining up to ask a question, but I have a couple of polished S/Steel pipe finishers, hopefully a photo will be here to, I have to open out the hole by about 3mm and finish up with a neat finished hole,,these will be covering the water pipes on a shower mixer valve,,so quite visable.and Im just not sure of the best thing to try, I have a dremel with some cheap stones, maybe a couple of burrs,,but any other ideas,,,filing perhaps??

It should but you'd likely burn through quite a few stones in the process and heat up the washers causing discolouring. Burrs are unlikely to work on stainless.
A good quality drill bit (good quality essential!) with some lubrication should do the job but you'd have to figure out how to securely hold the washers while you drill them without marking them. Do you have a vice and soft jaws?

Yep, just as I said almost 3 weeks has passed, and he has never been back.

Hello boys! Indeed I cannot agree more about the tardiness of my failure to reply, the single notification was sitting in my junk folder,,Im even more tardy about clearing my emails! My apologies.
But to leap to the subject,these are very thin pressed covers that I could easily fold with one hand, so no clamping them,,,my solution was the mount the Dremel by its nose through a couple of bits of 9mm mdf, this gave me a flat platform, I dropped the covers over a cheap stone from a Lidls accessory box and gently rolled the cover around and around whilst rotating it to even out the cut and the results were very good indeed and the covers now fit snugly around the compression nuts. To my surprise the stone was barely marked and certainly not worn.
Once again, my apologies and thanks to everyone who took the trouble to respond.
