Wich type of paint do I need?

I want to repaint my garden fence and garden benches. They are black wood.

So I don't get the wrong type of paint what type if paint do I need?

I think you will find that bench is not made from "black wood" It looks like it is covered in general dirt with some mould thrown in. If you paint directly on top of it the paint will not adhere and flake off, you really need to strip it down to bare wood.

The fence on the other hand looks like it has been painted with "Fence paint" (Its meant to be used outdoors on timber) but again you should get the green off first, but in this case you could use a pressure washer to get it off.
