Tile trim - size

Hi,
In hoping that this question doesn't sound too daft when you read it, I propose to use HomeLux tile trim around the edges of a window reveal, and the tiles are 6.5 mm thick.
Do I use 6mm tile trim and have a slight 'edge' to the tile, or go for the 9mm tile trim with a thicker layer of adhesive towards the edge where the tile meets the trim?

Thanks for any answers offered.

Regards,

Xantiaman

Go for the 9mm trim as you also have your bed of adhesive.

Personally i would go for the 6mm bead as most tiles have a slight round
on the face edge anyway

If you use the larger bead you will end up with a 4mm adhesive bed at least

The 6mm size reveals the edge of CUT tiles. So the 9mm will have to do. What is needed is a wider choice of sizes to cope with the range of tile thicknesses. I don't like the idea of using a soft plastic trim with hard tiles. but they don't make make the proper round edged tiles like they used to.
