I know handyman has been to Monaco and to the British (?) GPs
Anyone been to any others?
I am toying with the idea of going to Spa next year as there is usually always some decent racing there, plus it is reasonably simple to get to.

Saw the British GP at Silverstone, boring as Schuie led from start to finish,
Went to Donington Park as a free treat when I worked for part of R-R Marine, centennial year 2004, good fun red arrows the lot.
Been to Goodwood festival of speed same year same freebie!
Does that say something

Monaco, your seats are right up at the track, you are pretty much over it! Extremely exciting and the atmosphere was great
Then, at silverstone (2 months later) we were in the same seat position, over from the pits, and your a good bit away from the track. Didn't like it, and wouldn't be going back.
This then made us look at all the seating positions at all the tracks so far, and you are way back in them all (apart from monaco)
So, we are going again to Monaco, and will watch the rest on the tv.
We will see what the night race is like in Singapore, as we might go there for the next race, on the way to Oz next year.

Singapore could be a goodie
But then again, we probably thought that about Valencia
That has got to be the worst race on the F1 calendar ever!! and stuck with it for 10 years
If you are going to Melbourne and like Motor Racing, then Philip Island is usually great for the bikes (only seen it on TV, but almost always action from start to end)

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Monaco
Fights into Nice, and stay there (or there abouts) and the train takes you right into the center of monaco..........and go in on saturday, and after the qualifying they open the track and you can walk round the entire circuit.
Shops and McDonalds etc to go to and a walk up to the castle. So its cheap as well, with more to do than most races
Unfortunatly I think they have changed the dates now, but it was on the same time as the Cannes film festival this year, so 30 mins on the train and we were there as well!
tickets accross from the pits were the best
