Bathroom question

plasterer by trade but am undertaking my own bathroom renovation (apart from the plumbing)
Am swapping the bath around as to free up space to to fit all the units i would like, now my question is...
Wall where the new taps & shower fitting are to go are just plain 12mm plasterboard, should this be replaced by aquapanel
Also have had some water get in behind the existing tiles that are going to be ripped out, if the plasterboard has any water damage on should this also be replaced by aquapanel
All comments appreciated
