anyone know when i should have my cambelt changed, plus how much approx will it cost me?? not too much i hope got to have Wife's car services new tyres and XMAS is coming up :cb

dunno about cambelt, but if you are looking for tyres, I recently had to get 2 complete sets for my RAV4 and the wifes Punto - so totally different tyre types and sizes, but ended up buying both from same place - Protyres - http://www.protyre.co.uk/

They were cheaper then on-line suppliers like blackcircle.com even without asking them to do a deal :thumbright:
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"

Id expect it depends on what lump you have in it.... Anything for 40 to 60 i expect, or 4 years, whichever comes first.

just one more thing, i have read on other sites :oops: sorry that when you change a cambelt you need to change tensioner water pump etc etc etc the list was endless, is it true that you dont just have the cambelt changed and if so are all the other parts changed as part of the cambelt change price :scratch:

found out from SEAT UK that it is 120,000km or 4years whichever comes first JFYI :thumbright:
