Tyres online

Post by Foggy »

need 2 new fronts on my Civic
national tyre wanted 102 quid each fitted ,found 2 online ones a lot cheaper
http://www.tyre-shopper.co.uk/
http://www.blackcircles.com

got 2 in the end fully fitted for 135 quid ,you just pay them ,print off the voucher ,take to fitting centre nearest to you ,job done :thumbright:

thing is Tyre shopper use National tyre as their nominated fitting centre but are 70 quid cheaper

eTyres - they are just as cheap yet they come out to you, where ever you are (within 48 hrs). The 2 above you have to order them then go to one of their suppliers which are not always close and its still a 48 hour turnaround.

eTyres fitted some for me in Swansea and the service was good. Had the other two tyres fitted near Manchester and they were late by 3-4 hours but apart from that, not a problem.

Blackcircle use Protyres for their fitting, but I found the last set of 4 tyres I bought recently that just dropping in on Protyres for a price got me a better price then the Blackcircles quoted on-line fitted price
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
