Hi

Post by slopjocky »

Hi everyone, new here today.Hubby not into the decorating/DIY thing so i am left to it. And do a fair job if i do say so myself

Anyway, moved into our first home 4 years ago and the guy was a DIY nightmare,so am trying to correct things as i go.

The majority of things are simple but the heating system is my main concern this year.

Hi slopjocky,

welcome to UHM,

I have a few friends that are similar to your hubby, that is one of the reasons I started the site! I was sick of them phoning me and asking me questions, It never worked they still call me

Thanks for the welcome.
The slopjocky is army speak, thats what they call chefs amongst other things lol
No idea why my food was always edible and still is.

Panlid,I have a post about the heating system, tearing my hair out trying to figure it out.It must be female coz its very temperamental

Sorry for the delay in replying, am in the middle of trying to paint the ceilings as well as sort the heating out.Whoever did the work here needs shooting. The Artexing is so bad i am having to use a brush and sponge.

Hence the reason i am glad i found this site, never encountered so much bad DIY before.
