Migraine
To hell with migraines!
I've had one all day, this time minus the aura and nothing is making it disappear! I took horse strength pain killers at lunch time but it is still there. Any sufferers on here? What do you take and is it effective?
I avoid going to the doctor because my lot are quacks!

Veganin is a common pain killer for migraines.
Another one which is extremely strong is Frovatriptan.
Did you know that the female horemone is linked to Migraines. I'm no expert but I'm sure I read somewhere that it has got something to do with excitement.

It may seem difficult at first! But everything is difficult at first.

Weegie,
Thanks for that.
I rarely take pain killers though so that wouldn't apply to me.
Thanks for that.
There you go guys, we have excitable brains so when some women have a headache it's not a ploy to get some sleep.Animal tests have shown that their hormones make the female cortex more excitable, which means women are more vulnerable to headaches and migraine.
