Migraine

Post by Bludall »

To hell with migraines! :cussing: ::b :angryfire: :cussing: ::b :angryfire:
I've had one all day, this time minus the aura and nothing is making it disappear! I took horse strength pain killers at lunch time but it is still there. Any sufferers on here? What do you take and is it effective?
I avoid going to the doctor because my lot are quacks! ::b

Veganin is a common pain killer for migraines.

Another one which is extremely strong is Frovatriptan.

Did you know that the female horemone is linked to Migraines. I'm no expert but I'm sure I read somewhere that it has got something to do with excitement.
It may seem difficult at first! But everything is difficult at first.

Weegie,

Thanks for that.
:thumbright:
Animal tests have shown that their hormones make the female cortex more excitable, which means women are more vulnerable to headaches and migraine.
There you go guys, we have excitable brains so when some women have a headache it's not a ploy to get some sleep.

I rarely take pain killers though so that wouldn't apply to me.
