Perhaps one of these jobbies will do the trick?

WHy not save yourself the trouble and expense of a coin meter and just buy a reconditioned normal meter. and then just find out the unit price for your electricity from the supplier and then you can work out how many units you have used and pay them accordingly.

5.99 bargain to be honest

If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL

If you have a coin meter, then the tarrif is set by the person who has the key for the meter, so your garage owner could dramatically increase the price of the electricity by a simple turn of a dial without you knowing about it. If you do as i mentioned in my previous post and use a normal domstic electricity meter then you know how many units of electricity you have used multiply that by the price per unit and pay them accordingly. It seems a lot of money and hassle to get a coin op meter to me.

you can buy them from chez, link.

right I get you now, I read the first post properly, what you really want imo is an electricity meter not a coin meter, unless you want to save as you go.

You set the coin meter buy turning the coin entry slot to the correct unit allocation. It counts the coins used on the front and the KWh, but if you know the KWh used and the rate the owner pays, just do it that way
