dot and dabs wont dry

dot and dabs wont dry

had a kitchen reboarded all round , but on certain walls and after 3 coats of paint you canstill see where the adhesive was placed on the boards .
what can i do to stop this , and as ive mentioned in another thread should it have been battened

Is it a cavity wall where the problem is?

the problem is on an outside wall ,one part just single brick like an out house , the other i think is cavity, but nothing outside just the neighbours back garden

could be a few things here

either cold damp walls transferring air/moisture through the dots

or possibly the wrong type of adhesive used to adhere the plasterboard,and the plasterboard has pulled the "oils" or WHY in the adhesive to the warm side of the wall.
