Anybody got the Bosch DLE 50 laser measure

Post by Slugster »

I was wondering if anybody has got one of these or if there is a general opinion about them.

I tend to be very accurate when measuring and was wondering about the sort of tolerance these give.

The spec states +/- 1.5mm, usually these things err on the side of caution so I'd expect it to be better than that.

Any thoughts?

Cheers

It looks like an expensive piece of kit!

I have the Irwin sonic measure, which is probably not as accurate as the bosch laser Model.

I only use the irwin to get and approximate measure and if I am doing something critical then I use the tape measure.

It looks like a useful bit of kit, but it is a bit pricey for what it does.
So I think I'll be sticking with my sonic measure and tap measure for now

I have a few of the Irwin measures that can be won in the forum competition.

I have one Slugster and find it pretty accurate and easy to use. Although if you're feeling flush the DLE 150 offers much more flexibility and additions.
