hi everybody,
I have just finished laying some marble tiles on my cloakrrom floor. I have bought a Residue remover and a sealer from Topps tiles to seal it. Once i have smeared the residue remover do I use some sort of a scrubbing pad on a grinder to clean it and do i again use some polishing pad once the sealer is in situ?
Basically can someone tell me how to use these damn things.

Make sure the residue remover is suitable for marble, don't use an abrasive pad, as the marble is soft, seal before grouting and once afterwards when tiles are clean, the sealer will act as a polisher as you rub with a lint free cloth, is the residue adhesive?

It does not say if tis adhesive or not on the tin. Its made by a company called Fila.
Can I use polishing chamois pads attached to a grinder to polish it off at the end. In my other bathroom there seems to be some paint mark sort of marks on the tiles when you shine a light on it. Is that because it was not polished properly? Can I apply another coat of the filler and polish it now?

use the fila fob sealer to reactivate the old sealer and buff with a machine if required, remember you won't get into the corners with a circular buffer, for a uniform look, the paint type marks are probably grout residue as you would have used flexible grout with additive, a new coat of sealer rubbed vigorously should remove it.

Well you live and learn, a run of the mill tiler doesn't neccessarily fix natural stone well, as it is specialist, it takes much longer to achieve the desired results.
