2Ton Jack Problem

Post by kintangoman »

Tried to change the brake disc in my car 2day (MOT due in 5days), but the 2ton jack only lifted a little bit, then would not raise car any further. looks like the hydraulic function wont work. any advice???
thanks.

the release valve is fully closed. made 3 attempt at lifting car & relerasing jack 2B sure. have had jack now for 7yrs, so may be the seals have had it???

will still locate and add jack oil then see if it helps. if it doesn't, then i'll buy another. :cb
