Cracking game wasnt it
No, Foggy, I won't be going to Wembley. For over 25 years my 'local' just down the street from my house, was The Bloomfield, named after Blackpool's ground and also the road. During those 25 years, I had to be a Blackpool supporter of sorts, but we had a good crowd of supporters come in before and after the match, no matter what the result was.
The 2nd leg at Forest was a nail biter, right to the final whistle. Ironically, my local now that I live near Garstang was packed fuller than when the landlord has a MUFC (spit) match on TV. A lot of those in the pub are arch rivals of Blackpool, being Preston NE supporters, but they were cheering Pool along all the way.
The Latvian (I think that's where he is from) who owns the team has promised them a £5m bonus if they go up. So another little incentive to win.
