Hedge

Post by EssexBreeze »

Hi everybody,
Please excuse my ignorance in gardening matters.
I am fed up of my neighbour's unkept front garden. Can anybody suggest me any plant that you can plant more or less now and it gives you a decnt size hedge in a year's time (Thats when I plan to put the house on the market).
Cheers,
James

Laurels are good. 3ft high plants will cost £20 each but they grow well and give good cover. If left they will give a 12 foot high by 6 foot spread. Summerhill's on the A127 do a good selection.

Ask your garden centre for 'laplarch'.

They come pre-grown in 4ft to 6ft panels.....
Don't take it personally......
