Hi, can you tell me the best adhesive for putting the edging strip on the end of the worktop, I've been using PVA adhesive and sealer I have to use a weight on the strip and leave it for a few hours to make it stick I was told to use it by B&Q I now have a 2m length so I can't put a weight on the end of that

Try B&Q - they sell it as well altho' a little pricier (improved version :?) plus they do a tube for less than a couple of quid.

If you're looking for an adhesive, you should probably use Scotch-Weld Urethane Adhesive. It has two parts in it that makes it resistant to the cold and heat. This is a wonderful product that has long lasting durability.
