Personally I would advise to steer clear of Cheap Chinese bikes they are cheap for a reason, look around the second hand market for the big names Honda.Yamaha,Suzuki etc.,by far one of the best 125's is the Honda CG125,cheap to run and insure and parts a plenty

you get what you pay for and as they're being sold here im sure they'd have to conform to some sort of safety standard?

so think of them as your Kia's of the bike world.

Not heard of that make but you do get what you pay for! Still if it has 12V electrics leccy start and disk brakes it's probably fine for commuting.

CG125 isn't a scoot guys it's a proper bike

Before you buy you may want to check your insurance company or get a qoute as a lot of companys may not have the bike listed also, a lot of chinese bikes a manufactured by the same people just a different name...
But a other people have said stick with the big names, you will get an older bike for your money but a lot less hastle.

I'm with the CG125 also, although I think it has now been replaced by the CBF125.

Searching the web, these cost in the region of £1k brand new on the road.

I would be wary of something that cheap.

Have you considered a secondhand Suzuki Burgman 125, these seem to get good reviews.

i have a Gillera SP180 scooter which i bought for commuting about in London - great fun to ride - the 180cc Two Stroke is very quick off the line but the small wheels mean its a bit wobly at motorway speed.

if you dont have a full licence then go for the Gillera SP125 :thumbright:
