Freezing windscreen washer water

Anyone know what I can put in windscreen washer to stop water freezing in tubes?

Screenwash...you can buy it in Halfords as well as independent car accessory retailers...depending on the weather you may need up to 50% screenwash to water....

The winter screen wash mix has an antifreeze in it. This is academic as it is often the spray nozzles that freeze over and you have to wait for the engine heat to thaw them out. It is awful when you are driving and the screen gets covered in muck and the washers do not work.

i use tescos ready mixed screenwash and not had it freeze in the nozzles/tubes yet

i've always reconed the washer bottle should be built round the heater hoses to warm the water instead sticking the bottle under the front wing where it gets frozen

When I used to be doing early morning (3am) runs to the airport, I bought a couple of yards of washer bottle hose to extend the hose from the bottle to the 'T' piece and coiled it around the heater hoses. With a neat mixture of washer fluid in the bottle and with the water warming nicely in the hose, the jets were always clear.
Use a strong mixture of fluid and if need be, pour some hot water just on the jets to thaw them out and run the washer for a few seconds to get a flow through them.
