hi hank, i have the ts40plus which i mainly use. great for doing splashbacks due to its smaller size. just doing a bathroom at the momment with 300mm tiles and no problem
i also have the tx700n for bigger stuff and absolutley love it. when you cut an 600mm tile into 2 1 inch stips it actally makes you laugh.
if going for one then i suppose the 50 plus is the way to go.

What's with the 'Pocket' Rubi's?

Are they just that, a pocket version not for heavy use, just handy to keep in your pocket?

tradetiler needs to do something with his prices, now sfd are selling them. He is £2 more delivered, so that works out at a free pint of bitter.

Phone him up and ask him to match the price, I'm sure he will do it.

I'm also sure that he knows Screwfix are cheaper than him.

my local tile shop sells rubis much cheaper than trade tiler and you get it there and then

remember just because its online doesnt make it cheap

I have a TS40 and love it a TS50 would be too big for kitchen splashbacks

I also have a TX700 which I hate

i agree tim. i think the 40 is a great size and weight though i think hank is just after buying 1 so the 50 may be better all round.

i didnt like the 700 the first couple of cuts. then i put the different size wheel in it and it worked superb. the first cut with the wrong size wheel seemed to stagger not giving a straight cut. i thought juesus ive wasted a fortune, so was well happy when i sorted it. far to big for everyday use though. i have an off cut of worktop about a metre long which i screw to a workmate, then i screw the 700 to that to give a nice working cutter.
