Block and beam floor external

Hi. I have been tiling for a few years now but have never come across conc block and beam floors before.

I havent seen the job as yet and only know what the customer has told me. I will be viewing the job tomorrow.

I will be laying 10 square meters of quarry tiles externally onto block and beam. Would I need to do a screed first? Also I was thinking of using Ardex X7?

Any advice would be very helpful.

Block and beam has to be grouted then screeded, although the grouting should have been carried out by the contractors who installed it.

Found out that the work is to be carried out, they are just planning ahead.
