How not to paper a ceiling
This is where you can post pictures of extremely poor workmanship, whether it is done by a dodgy tradesman or by an incompetent DIY'er. Instructions on how to post pictures can be found in here.

How not to paper a ceiling
Post by royaloakcarpentry »
Finished this bathroom last month, sub contract job and then a 'painter and decorator' came along and papered the ceiling. Not I hasten to add a 'painter and decorator' employed by myself....................mine are actual real ones!
I wouldn't mind but I could have done the ceiling myself but elected not too. Not only has he done a very poor job but he got the protecting coat applied to the paper all over my ruddy tiles and just left it.
The client hasn't even asked for it to be done again, but did comment that it cost £85 per roll. That, I found amusing as I saw the rolls and they were labelled at £8 pmsl.

it is hanging on the ceiling lol The paper is horrendous, the design doesn't belong anywhere except inside a shed.
The paper hasn't even been centred either, he came off the wall by a full width to make it easier for himself.

I'm afraid that paper is just not agreeable with my eyes.
It looks like whoever hung it has never papered before, they have made a right pigs ear of it!

Re: How not to paper a ceiling
At first I thought Royaloak had posted the pic upside down, and the ceiling was a carpet in a white tiled bathroom!...

Looks like it, Gadget. Even shows the bidet spray and the light to check what is being sprayed.

Sorry for that, ROC,

You can always tell a Yorkshireman,
But you cannot tell him much.

That is shocking!
And the paper looks like sopmething out of a whorehouse.

If at first you don't succeed - remove all evidence that you tried.
