Some advice needed for my first ever project.
I am replacing my old bathroom suite and re-tiling entire bathroom. What I want to do though is make small frame around my bath and tile it with mosaics. What should I make this frame out of because with the heat I am assuming ply or mdf will expand and cause problems. I have read about aquapanel in the other articles but I haven't ever seen or used it before.
Also a guy from the tile shop said I only need waterproof adhesive around the shower (over the bath), and not around the rest of the bathroom? Is he right.
Any advice is much appreciated

Build the frame out of 2x2 and clad with a tile backer board. This can be Aquapanel, Hardibacker, Wedi board, Lux board or any number of tile backer boards.
The first two mentioned are more freely available and are both cement based, can be cut with a stanley knife and straight edge (you'll get through a lot of blades) or buy a £5 a saw and accept you'll knacker it. Available from Wickes, B&Q or other other builder merchants.
Technically I suppose the guy is right about the waterproof adhesive, although I'd generally I'd use a waterproof adhesive throughout the room, just habit really.
