tiler numpty

Post by Mooncat »

Delivered a new electric cooker to daughter's rented house. I expected that it would all be working before I left, But no, the cooker control was there, but no cable. The clown who had tiled the newly refitted kitchen, had forgotten to put in the cable first, so the cable will have to be fixed on the surface ::b

A chase and a length of plastic conduit would have been easy, but he must have thought a gas cooker would be better!

Might be easy but not many tilers also hold Part P certificate.

He didn't have to put in the cable, just the conduit.

Our tilers wouldn't get involved with chases and conduit or just conduit.

The only way he could 'forget' would be if he had priced to do this. So if it were me, I would be getting him back to hack off some tiles, out the conduit in and then tile over.
