Im looking at buying a personal gas alert alarm basically to notify me of possible flammable gas leaks ive looked at the gasalert clip extreme 2 at http://www.safe4sure.co.uk/safety-categ ... y=1&page=3 but they have 2 types 1 detects H2s and the other is co which one is the best for detecting house hold gas?

Sorry only just noticed this, the standard gas alarm clips are for toxic odourless gases, you would probably be better getting one that monitors the oxygen level, they alarm when it goes below 20%. The carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulphide alarms are used when working in confined spaces. They need calibrating annually which is very expensive.

Natural gas has odour added to it so you can smell it. Why do you think you need one??
