Weird.
I no longer seem to be able to edit posts despite it saying I can - there is no Edit button.
It also says I can delete posts but only one of my posts has a delete button on it.
Steve O.
**Edit**
Seems like the Edit and Delete buttons show here but still not in the Electrics or Painting/Decorating Forums.

Re: Edit Button Disappeared?
you can only edit your threads for something like 30 mins to stop people returning and spamming
if you want to alter a post just ask my self or one off the other mods and we will sort it out for you

Re: Edit Button Disappeared?
Thanks for that - not come across that before. Maybe something in PHPBB? as most of the forums I used in the past run on vBulletin, or perhaps just not commonly implemented.
I did have a look in my Profile settings, but can't see how to view the Forum settings. Come to think of it I have PHPBB3 installed running locally on a Wampserver (VBulletin isn't free), so guess I'll run that up and have a look as Admin if I come across stuff like this in future.
I see now that the buttons are gone in the first post in this thread, but is the setting for the Delete thread button set to 30 mins also or longer?
Incidentally, all I wanted to do was edit my links to eBay as the URL tags were missing so they weren't clickable, but not necessary since I got the answers I needed.
Thanks
Steve O.

Another anti-spam Modification, Steve O, until you have made 10 posts any links posted will not show as a link.
Now that you are on 14 posts you should find that you can post links.
If you ever need a post removing or editing and are unable to do so, hit the "Alert Moderator" button. (Red exclamation mark)
