Re: Sudoku
Beware - its very addictive once you start!
You need 1-9 in every vertical line, 1-9 in every horizontal line and 1-9 in each mini 3x3 square.
Kinda hard to explain how but I try and insert each number in turn across the whole board to get me started. It's always easier to try the same numbers that have been given as starters. So if there's a 3 for example, scan every line and every mini square to see where the 3's DEFINITELY fit.
Getting started is usually the tricky bit when you first try. Other 3's already filled in on the board will push you into fitting a 3 in a certain place as you can't have two 3's in a mini square or two 3's in a complete line.
Hope this kinda helps in some way.

I'll try and give it a go!
Never given it a second glance, but I've been told by WB that if I enter their Sudoku competition and win, I'll get a Sprint EVO2 Kit3.
So I'm tempted

It looks quite basic, I'm sure it is meant for beginners. Do not know why WB are getting people involved, but am now more than tempted to learn how it is played. Have tried adding, subtracting, etc to get the results but no luck

Re: Sudoku
Don't get it confused with maths. No need to add, subtract, times or divide anything. It's purely about arranging the numbers so that they follow the basic rule. 1-9 across 1-9 up and down 1-9 in each small square.

This is going to be fun!
Thanks for all the heads up. Once I work out exactly how this works, I'll be consumed in it.
Missus keeps complaining that I spend too much time 'on that forum', well, I'll be spending too much time doing sukodu

I do a version of it but it used 0-9 and A-F (called hexadecimal) known as Hexadoku - like this...... (part completed, you have to find the numbers/letters that fit the grey boxes to win).

Re: Sudoku
I don't think I've got the patience for that one! I tried one once that was just 9 different symbols like ?!£@& etc.
Same rules as normal sudoku but it just did my head and I gave up lol

Re: Sudoku
I'd never heard of that site until you posted it......And TBH that was such a simple one to solve that it would have been a waste of my time to go there......wrinx wrote:http://www.sudoku-solutions.com/ by any chance? :lol:wrinxwine~o wrote:from top left reading across

If you think you're really adventurous, try this alphadoku (A-Z and 0-9 in grids of 36)
