customer of mine has designed his own kitchen layout which has a hob in close proximity to a oven housing (tower) can you confirm the minimum distance the hob should be away?
many thanks

From my own Hob install instructions
"Adjacent side walls above the hob must not be nearer than 100mm and should be of heat resistant material."
Your customers hob may well have different instructions.
Personally, I'd allow at least 300mm either side of the hob as working space.

Minium distance should be 300mm but worth checking the manufacturer website and finding instructions as some do state a set distance

I have seen MI's quote a minimum distance of 150 mm from an adjacent cabinet, but surely common sense would dictate a distance of 300 mm to allow for pan handles.
