Has B-A seen this, yet? Cordless 2nd fix from Ryobi
Take a look at this (R18NLO). Looks like Ryobi's take on the deWalt DW608 18 gauge 2nd fix gun, but somewhat lighter (because there is no flywheel). Still no 16 gauge gun as far as I can tell, though, so not yet fully trade ready IMHO. Any idea about availability in the UK, B-A?

i thought it was a 16 gauge when i first saw it
it takes 2" [51mm]18 brads the one i have takes 1 1/4" [32mm]
i couldn't justify the cost for 3/4" oohh err misses
this is the first i have heard off it roc

I ordered this the other week 14 days to wait till it arrives from the states. I dont no if it will come to the uk all i no is its 121 quid bare pm me if you need more info
